“Devotion or Bhakthi is not a superstition. Devotion means humble surrendering of ones egos at the lotus feet of the Supreme Power- the ultimate knowledge- the ALMIGHTY.

“Atmana: Nitharam Vedanam ethy atmanivedanam” (means that the true self-knowledge is the realization of Paramatma. Once you realize your “self”, then you begin to accept the truth “Vasudeva Sarvamithi” (means God is everything). It is said that there are nine steps or sadhanas to attain Mukthi – Shravanam, keerthanam, smaranam, Padasevanam, Archanam, Vandanam, Dasyam, Sakkyam and Atmanivedanam. Though the sadhanas are complex in nature, one should not deviate from Bhaktimarga. The temples are the best place for inculcating Bhakti Bhava. Hence it is very important to get associated with temple, its culture and festivities. It opens an entry door to salvation.
